Italy held 5th annual competition in Russian

On February 22, the Russian school Harmony in Mila, with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, held the final stage of the 5th Russian Language Competition. The final and awarding of the participants of the Calligraphy contest took place on this day.

This event has already become a tradition and this time gathered a large number of participants from different parts of Italy. Children, students of Russian schools, their parents, teachers and everyone who is passionate about the Russian language took part in it.

The winners will go to the Artek international camp and the Constellation of Talents creative camp.

The 80th anniversary of the birth of a Russian-American poet and essayist Josef Brodsky was marked at the end of May. His life was very short by today’s standards – he lived 56 years only.
